Description

In a letter written to L. N. Patterson, the superintendent of Deuel Vocational Institution, Dymally asserts that he is aware of the unfair treatment of one of his constituents, Leroy Hutchinson, who is housed in the K Wing, and incarcerated people are confined to their rooms for over 23 hours a day, are prohibited from participating in any rehabilitative programs and are served cold food. Dymally adds that Hutchinson claims that he has not done anything that would justify him being in the K Wing. Dymally includes that he does not have all the information pertaining to this specific case, and asks Patterson to forward information regarding Hutchinson’s confinement.
