Description
In a letter writen by the president of the Berkeley chapter of the National Organization of Women, Marijean Suelze thanks Dymally for writing two letters to the Department of Sociology, and states that the student organizaiton has supported the specific bills passed by Dymally regarding wome's rights in higher-education by writing letters to officials, attending a hearing, sent out a news release and tabeled at several universities to bring awareness to the inequalities women face in higher education. Marijean informs Dymally that she is unable to attend a 27 May 1970 hearing sponsored by Dymally; but adds that two chapter members, B.J. Miller, and Pam Spevak will be present.
